Discretion

Every bottle we offer comes from one cellar whose owner prefers to remain unnamed. We keep that promise, and we keep yours. Nothing you buy is announced, listed or photographed.

Provenance

Fill levels, labels, capsules and original wooden cases are noted bottle by bottle. The collection remains in Buenos Aires under the owner's care until the day it travels, and travels only once.

Placement

We do not push allocations. We listen first, then propose. A single magnum for an evening, a vertical for a lifetime, or an object that has nothing to do with wine and everything to do with the table.

The cellar

The collection was assembled by a winemaker of English birth, long established in Argentina, who buys what he would drink and keeps what he cannot find twice. It runs from Bordeaux of 1946 to the latest Bolgheri releases, and from Marsala drawn in the year of Waterloo to the Uco Valley. Bárbara Amado holds the exclusive representation of these wines for Switzerland.

We do not publish prices. Each bottle is quoted on request, ex taxes, with delivery to Switzerland arranged either under bond or duty-paid. Quantities are often one.

The founder

Bárbara Amado

Sommelier. Founder of Croian & Hein.

Bárbara trained as a sommelier at the Centro Argentino de Vinos y Espirituosas in Buenos Aires, and has spent her career on the selling side of wine: reading what a collector actually wants, and finding it.

Since 2025 she has been a partner and head of sales at a Buenos Aires wine house, where the cellar behind this collection is kept. She holds its exclusive representation for Switzerland.

She works in Spanish and English, answers personally, and prefers a long conversation to a short sale.

Exactly as promised.

Held in Bond

The collection remains in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the owner's care and in controlled conditions. Bottles leave bond once — for you.

Condition, bottle by bottle

Fill level, label, capsule and case are described plainly. A 1946 Pétrus with a very top-shoulder fill is offered as such. We would rather lose a sale than a reputation.

Delivery to Switzerland

Insured, temperature-controlled transport to your home, cellar or bonded warehouse in Switzerland, under bond or duty-paid, with the paperwork handled for you.

Beyond the bottle

Glassware, decanters, cellar books and the occasional object that simply belongs on a good table. Sourced the same way, with the same discretion.
