Italy in 2002.
Hail on 14 September wrecked the Langhe harvest. Giacomo Conterno made no Monfortino and Antinori no Tignanello, which is why the gap in a vertical falls here.
A single steep parcel of old vines, fermented for months on the skins and released after a decade in cask. Roagna bottles it only in the best years and in very small numbers.
Condition is described before anything travels: fill level, label, capsule and original case, bottle by bottle.
