A large crop under sustained mildew pressure, saved by a dry September. Selection decided everything.
Every vintage since 1945 carries a label by a different artist. The 1993 drawing by Balthus was refused in the United States, so American bottles shipped with a blank label. These carry the drawing.
Condition is described before anything travels: fill level, label, capsule and original case, bottle by bottle.
