The first vintage of Estiba Reservada, made when the idea that Argentina could produce an ageable wine was still unproven.
The first vintage was 1990, made from the oldest Cabernet at La Pirámide and released only when Nicolás Catena judged it ready. It is the wine that told the world Argentina could age.
