- Clos de la Roche Jacky Truchot: 1 bottle
Burgundy in 1987.
Small, honest and unfashionable, and better now than its reputation ever was.
Jacky Truchot retired in 2005 and sold his vines, and his pale, whole-cluster wines went from local secret to obsession. The grand cru Clos de la Roche was his largest holding, which still meant only a few barrels.
Condition is described before anything travels: fill level, label, capsule and original case, bottle by bottle. If you have not bought an older bottle before, our note on fill levels explains what those words mean and what they are worth. The 1987 leaves storage once, insured and temperature-controlled, for your home, your cellar or your account at a bonded warehouse in Switzerland.
