One of the wettest growing seasons on record. Dilution was the defining problem.
A garden of barely two hectares bought by the Thienpont family in 1979, fermented in a cellar under a modest house. Production rarely passes a few hundred cases, which is why Le Pin became the first cult wine of Bordeaux.
