Seven hectares of blue clay on a hill above Ornellaia, planted to Merlot in 1984 almost by accident. It became Italy’s answer to Pétrus, and the only Italian wine traded like a first growth.
Condition is described before anything travels: fill level, label, capsule and original case, bottle by bottle. The 2018 leaves storage once, insured and temperature-controlled, for your home, your cellar or your account at a bonded warehouse in Switzerland.
