Ripe, generous and complete in Piedmont, and one of the great post-war Barolo vintages.
Made only in the finest years, from the Cascina Francia vineyard, and aged for seven years or more in large old casks. The 1978 is the vintage every Barolo drinker wants to have tasted once.
