What we hold of the 2009
  • 3 bottles · 100/100 points

Bordeaux in 2009.

A warm, dry, generous year. Ripe tannins, high alcohol and immediate appeal, and the opulent half of the 2009 and 2010 pair.

The 1961 vintage is the yardstick every other Bordeaux year is measured against, and Latour made the wine of the vintage. This bottle comes from the Berry Bros. & Rudd Family Reserves, one of the finest private cellars in London.

Condition is described before anything travels: fill level, label, capsule and original case, bottle by bottle. If you have not bought an older bottle before, our note on fill levels explains what those words mean and what they are worth. The 2009 leaves storage once, insured and temperature-controlled, for your home, your cellar or your account at a bonded warehouse in Switzerland.
