A warm year with a cool August, ripe without excess, and one of the more balanced of the recent run.
The 1961 vintage is the yardstick every other Bordeaux year is measured against, and Latour made the wine of the vintage. This bottle comes from the Berry Bros. & Rudd Family Reserves, one of the finest private cellars in London.
