The wettest modern Mendoza vintage, and the hardest. Yields collapsed, and what was made is lean and fresh rather than ripe.
Pinot Noir from vines planted in 1932, bought and revived by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta of the Sassicaia family. The 2018 was named Wine of the Year by James Suckling.
